This tiny home is a redesign of a prototype ADU to bring in natural materials. The result is warm, healthy interior. The floor is cork plank, the walls are finished with clay plaster and the roof and loft are exposed tongue and groove wood. This ADU is part of an affordable housing pilot program aimed at increasing the housing supply for people below 80% of the median annual income in their area. 20 of these units will be built around Durham in 2026.
